Some arrangements cannot be booked.
They are built.
Private Access is the working layer of Richseen — where a matter stops being a question to be read about and becomes work that someone is carrying.
A decision is seldom single. What arrives as one question — a city, a school, a sale, a change in the family — usually carries four or five others behind it, on different timelines and under different jurisdictions. Private Access is organised around the matter, not around a list of services that each answer one piece of it.
How it arrives“We are evaluating several cities.”
How it arrives“Our family structure is evolving.”
How it arrives“We require clarity before committing.”
The order of those questions is usually part of the problem. Establishing it is the first piece of work, not the preface to it.
Four movements, in that order. Nothing is proposed before the first one is done.
What the matter actually is: what has already been decided, what is genuinely fixed, and what is only assumed to be fixed. No recommendation is made at this stage, because most of what arrives as one decision turns out to be several.
The matter is separated into decisions and sequenced by what depends on what. It is written down, so that everyone involved works from the same picture rather than from their own recollection of it.
Introductions, scheduling and follow-through across the people a matter requires — advisors, operators, institutions. Richseen holds the thread between them. It does not replace any of them.
What was decided, what was declined and what was assumed stays on record. When the next matter arrives, it begins from that context instead of beginning again.
A one-off engagement ends when the task ends, and the context ends with it. The next question is then asked from zero — the same history re-explained, the same constraints rediscovered, the same options re-examined by people who were not there the first time. Private Access is structured the other way round.
What was chosen, when, and on what basis — so a later question does not quietly reverse an earlier answer.
What was considered and set aside, and why. This is the part that is usually lost, and the part most often re-proposed a year later.
What the decision depended on, written down as an assumption, so it can be revisited when one of those conditions moves.
The second matter usually moves faster than the first. Not because the work is lighter, but because the context already exists.
Most matters begin one at a time. Where they stop arriving one at a time, the relationship is placed on an annual footing: the same work, held continuously rather than reopened from the beginning each time something moves.
A defined area of the family’s affairs.
Matters as they arise.
Richseen coordinates. Existing advisors remain primary.
Several concurrent matters, often across more than one jurisdiction.
A standing review rhythm, alongside matters as they arise.
Richseen holds the thread between parties continuously.
The whole picture, including matters not yet decided.
Continuous.
Richseen is present in the decision from the outset, alongside whoever is already advising.
Annual relationships are structured according to scope, frequency and level of involvement.
There is no published rate and no fixed package. What a level involves follows from what it is asked to carry, and is agreed in conversation before any work begins.
Moving between levels is a change in involvement, not an upgrade. A relationship can also stay where it is for years, which is the more common outcome.
The limits are part of the structure. Stating them is cheaper for everyone than discovering them halfway through a matter.
Each situation is approached on its own terms, with attention to context, consequence and continuity. There is nothing to add to a basket.
The framework favours sequencing over acceleration. Nothing is moved faster than the matter warrants, including at the client’s request.
Capacity is small in fact. Some engagements become structured journeys; others stay advisory over a long horizon; some are declined.
Richseen structures, sequences and coordinates. Legal, tax, immigration and investment advice is given by licensed professionals engaged for the matter — Richseen does not provide that advice, does not supervise it, and does not carry the professional responsibility that belongs to the person giving it. Where a matter requires a regulated opinion, the work is to make sure the right professional is asked the right question at the right time.
Engagements are initiated by referral or direct introduction. What follows a first exchange is an assessment of fit — on both sides — before any work is described or any level is discussed.
