Neil Armstrong becomes the first person to walk on the Moon
Armstrong stepped off the Lunar Module footpad onto the lunar surface; Aldrin followed about twenty minutes later. The single moonwalk lasted roughly two and a half hours and returned about 21.5 kg of samples.
