Tokyo becomes the sixth Major
node
The Tokyo Marathon runs its first race as part of the World Marathon Majors, opening the 2013-2014 series scoring period. It is the first Major outside Europe and North America, and it is the addition that makes "six stars" the thing a finisher collects.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
