2. The chemist and computer scientist who led the AlphaFold2 work at Google DeepMind and is first author of the 2021 Nature paper. He was awarded one quarter share of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, jointly with Demis Hassabis, "for protein structure prediction".
