A vertically-oriented single-person submersible built in Australia for James Cameron's 2012 solo dive to the Challenger Deep - the first crewed return there since 1960 and the first solo descent. The dive and its accompanying uncrewed landers produced pressure-derived depths of about 10,908 +/- 3 m for the submersible and about 10,918 +/- 3 m for the landers, values notably shallower than the 2010 multibeam maximum. Not a place.
