Austronesian speakers move out of Taiwan

The dispersal that would ultimately span from Madagascar to Rapa Nui begins with movement from Taiwan into the northern Philippines, conventionally placed around the third millennium BCE on the archaeological evidence of Neolithic settlement, pottery and domesticates.
