The Nestorian Stele is erected at Chang'an
node
A stone monument recording a century and a half of the Church of the East in China is raised in the Tang capital, in Chinese with a Syriac colophon. Buried at some point and rediscovered in the 1620s, it is the single most important documentary object for Christianity on the overland routes.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
