Argo Program — array design, history and status
evidence
Argo float deployments began in 1999 under a 1998 design of 3,000 floats on a 3° grid between 60°S and 60°N; the 3,000-float target was reached in November 2007; the array now exceeds 4,000 floats and the OneArgo design extends it to 4,700 including about 1,000 biogeochemical floats. Read via search summaries of the Argo and NOAA/AOML pages; the pages themselves are on domains blocked to this run.
A evidence is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.

No dated observations are stored for this object. Atlas shows what was observed and when — it does not infer a history.

Assembled narrative · 0
This object does not clear the publishing floor: an assembled narrative needs a description and at least one cited piece of evidence.
Observed changes · 0
No public Signals are attached to this object. Signals show what changed and when it was observed — never a direction or a rank.
