Asteroseismic, evolutionary and hydrodynamic modelling of Betelgeuse (Joyce et al. 2020)

evidence

Supports a mass of about 16.5-19 solar masses, a radius near 764 solar radii, a distance near 168 parsecs and core helium burning with roughly 100,000 years remaining. All figures come from a search summary of secondary reporting; the paper was not fetched and the distance remains uncertain at roughly the ten-per-cent level.

A evidence is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.

No dated observations are stored for this object. Atlas shows what was observed and when — it does not infer a history.

    Assembled narrative · 0

This object does not clear the publishing floor: an assembled narrative needs a description and at least one cited piece of evidence.
