Supports the statement that the Public Investment Fund commissioned a feasibility review of The Line, that officials came to anticipate far fewer residents by 2030 than the 1.5 million originally briefed, and that NEOM was omitted from the 2026 pre-budget statement. V55 verification basis: journalism, some of it citing unnamed sources; no PIF or NEOM disclosure was retrieved, and figures for suspension dates, write-downs and contract values circulating in low-quality aggregation are deliberately not carried into this pack.
