Bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line
node
Two devices concealed in backpacks detonate about twelve seconds apart near the finish line on Boylston Street at roughly 2.50 pm, during the 117th running. Three spectators are killed — Martin Richard, Krystle Campbell and Lu Lingzi — and more than 260 people are injured. The attack targets the place where a city gathers to watch strangers finish, and the security architecture of every mass marathon since has been rebuilt around it.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
