BR-319 becomes impassable

node

The Manaus-Porto Velho highway, built in the previous decade, is effectively abandoned as maintenance proves impossible in the wet interfluvial terrain it crosses. Its failure inadvertently protects one of the largest remaining blocks of intact forest in the basin, and every subsequent proposal to rebuild it is argued over on exactly that ground.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
