Coral Triangle Initiative Leaders' Declaration at Manado
node
The heads of government of the six Coral Triangle countries adopt a joint declaration on coral reefs, fisheries and food security, formalising an initiative first proposed in 2007. It is a rare case of reef governance organised around a biogeographic region rather than national boundaries, and around food security rather than conservation framing — the six states between them hold most of the world's coral species and a very large reef-dependent population.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
