The handloom weavers are displaced

node

Having been in high demand for a generation because mechanised spinning had flooded them with yarn, handloom weavers were undercut by the maturing power loom. Piece rates fell year on year while numbers in the trade stayed high, because the skill transferred nowhere. It is the clearest case in the period of a technology destroying a livelihood slowly and visibly rather than at a stroke.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
