The hallmarks of ageing are formalised
node
López-Otín, Blasco, Partridge, Serrano and Kroemer publish nine candidate processes in Cell, each required to manifest with age, to accelerate ageing when worsened and to retard it when improved. The paper becomes the field's common vocabulary; a 2023 revision expands the list to twelve.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
