Jenner inoculates James Phipps with cowpox

node

Edward Jenner takes material from a cowpox lesion on the hand of the dairymaid Sarah Nelmes and inoculates an eight-year-old boy, then later challenges him with smallpox matter and finds him protected. The date is the conventional one given in the standard history; the experiment would not pass any modern ethical review.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
