OneWeb completes its first-generation constellation

node

The launch of the final batch of first-generation satellites gave OneWeb the coverage needed for global service, three years after the company had entered bankruptcy protection with the network unfinished. Later in the year it combined with the geostationary operator Eutelsat, producing a company operating in both orbital regimes — a structural bet that geostationary and low-Earth-orbit capacity are complementary products rather than substitutes.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
