NASA narrows candidate south polar landing regions to nine

node

NASA reduced its 2022 list of thirteen candidate landing regions to nine, all poleward of about 84°S, selected for access to permanently shadowed terrain, sustained sunlight for power, workable slopes and continuous Earth communications. The list included Peak near Cabeus B, Haworth, Malapert Massif, Mons Mouton and the Nobile Rim sites.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
