Naruo Golf Club

node · earth

One of Japan's oldest clubs, founded in 1920 in the hills of Hyogo Prefecture north of Osaka. The Crane brothers laid out the course and Charles Alison reworked it in 1931; the result is a par-71 of roughly 6,560 yards over rugged, pine-lined terrain cut by gullies, the hilliest of Japan's world-ranked courses.
