Tokyo Golf Club

Japan's oldest members' club, founded in 1914, which moved from Komazawa and then Asaka before settling at Sayama in Saitama in 1940. The present course was built by Kohmyo Ohtani following the principles Charles Alison had set for the club's earlier Asaka layout, and it is known for its steep 'Alison' bunkers and traditional two-green system.
