Whistling Straits, Straits Course

node · earth

The Straits is a Pete and Alice Dye creation on a manufactured dunescape along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline north of Sheboygan, part of Destination Kohler. It has hosted three PGA Championships and the 2021 Ryder Cup and plays as a walking, caddie course. Its bunker-strewn, links-inspired look was built from what was once a flat airfield.
