Jacques Piccard

person · earth

Swiss oceanographer and engineer, son of bathyscaphe designer Auguste Piccard. With US Navy Lieutenant Don Walsh he made the first crewed descent to the bottom of the Challenger Deep aboard Trieste on 23 January 1960 - a dive not repeated by anyone for 52 years. Not a place.

A person is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
