The four-lane road bridge across the Elbe whose construction cost Dresden its World Heritage status. It is worth naming as an object in its own right because it makes the Dresden case concrete: the Convention was not defeated by neglect or by a hostile regime but by an ordinary municipal transport project with democratic and judicial backing behind it. The bridge opened to traffic in 2013, four years after the deletion.
