It is currently among the best-constrained estimates - and it still does not close the question, because the acoustic and pressure families of measurement have not been reconciled.

  35. Submersible transects conducted in June 2020 yield a revised Challenger Deep floor depth of 10,935 m (+/- 6 m at 95 percent confidence) below mean sea level. Earlier direct measurements include DEEPSEA CHALLENGER at 10,908 +/- 3 m and its landers at 10,918 +/- 3 m (2012).
