Angkor removed from the List of World Heritage in Danger

In June 2004 the Committee found the site reasonably secure from destruction and removed it from the danger list, describing the UNESCO-coordinated restoration effort running since 1993 as a success story. The APSARA National Authority, created in 1995 to satisfy one of the inscription conditions, had by then become the standing management institution — the durable output of the whole episode.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
