Inauguration of the Flavian Amphitheatre
node
The Colosseum is inaugurated under Titus with games reported to have lasted a hundred days. Built on the drained lake of Nero's private Golden House, it is a deliberate act of political architecture: imperial land returned to public use. Capacity figures in the 50,000-80,000 range are modern estimates from seating reconstruction, not attested counts.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
