Andermatt
node · earth
Andermatt is a Uri valley village at the crossroads of the Gotthard passes that has been rebuilt as a resort and now anchors the Andermatt+Sedrun+Disentis ski domain. Its north-facing Gemsstock is renowned for steep freeride lines and opens early in November, while the sunnier Oberalp–Sedrun side joins in December. The combination suits strong off-piste skiers with a rejuvenated base village. The season typically runs November to April; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
