Coronet Peak
node · earth
Coronet Peak is the commercial ski field closest to Queenstown, on the southern slopes of the peak that gives it its name, and it was New Zealand's first commercial ski area. Heavy investment in snowmaking and night skiing lets it run a long Southern Hemisphere season with early and late-day sessions. The season typically runs June to October, the southern winter; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
