Crans-Montana

Crans-Montana sits on a sunny plateau above the Rhône valley in Valais, with 140 km of entirely south-facing pistes between 1,500 m and 3,000 m. Runs descend from the Plaine Morte glacier past a snowpark to the resort's golf course on the Haut-Plateau, giving terrain for every level. The resort hosted the 1987 World Championships and combines a town-like base with plateau sunshine. The season typically runs December to early April; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
