Hakuba Happo-One

node · earth

Happo-One is the largest of the ten Hakuba Valley areas and the one with Olympic pedigree, having staged the 1998 alpine events on Mount Karamatsu. Its Adam gondola base lies a short distance west of Hakuba village, and the resort has become a favourite of overseas visitors to Nagano. The season typically runs late November to early May; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
