Val d'Isère

node · earth

Val d'Isère is a historic Savoie village high in the Tarentaise that shares a large lift-linked domain with Tignes, long marketed as the Espace Killy. The area is among the first in the Alps to open each autumn and keeps running until early May, with summer glacier skiing added in June. Its mix of a characterful village and steep, snow-sure terrain draws experienced skiers and off-piste specialists. The season typically runs late November to early May, with a short summer glacier season; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
