Titanic launched at Belfast
The hull entered the Lagan before a crowd of about a hundred thousand, unnamed and unchristened in White Star practice. She was then moved to the fitting-out wharf and the Thompson Graving Dock for engines, funnels and interiors — nearly a further year of work.
