Mesaba reports heavy pack ice and bergs directly ahead
node
The Mesaba signalled a field of heavy pack ice and numerous large icebergs squarely across Titanic's track. The message was not prefixed for the master, and the inquiries found it never reached the bridge — the wireless room was clearing a backlog of passenger traffic to the relay station at Cape Race.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
