Courchevel is the Savoie resort on the eastern flank of Les 3 Vallées, made up of several tiered villages from La Tania and Courchevel Village up to Courchevel 1850, which has its own mountain altiport. It opens in early December and links into the world's largest lift-connected ski area. Its meticulously groomed slopes and wide nursery zones give it broad appeal, from families to well-heeled expert skiers. The season typically runs early December to mid-April; opening dates, snow and lift status are confirmed only with the resort.
