Día de los Muertos
Oaxaca, Mexico
Epic · held by 376 collectors
Día de los Muertos in Oaxaca is the most elaborate observance in Mexico — marigold-carpeted altars, candlelit cemetery vigils on November 1-2, and processions of catrinas through the Zócalo. The streets fill with sugar skulls, copal smoke, and families spending the night with ancestors. Recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Death observed as reunion.
