Naadam — the Three Games of Men — is Mongolia's national festival, held in Ulaanbaatar each July 11-13 with wrestling, horse racing, and archery. Six hundred horse-racing jockeys are children aged five to thirteen; the finest wrestler earns the title Titan. The opening ceremony at the National Stadium mixes military pageantry with nomadic tradition. Genghis Khan's sporting culture, still active.
