The Fête du Citron in Menton transforms the French Riviera's citrus capital each February: over a hundred and fifty tonnes of oranges and lemons are sculpted into floats, figures, and installations across the Biovès Gardens and the old town. Founded in 1934, it is the most elaborate fruit festival in existence — and the southernmost of the great French winter celebrations.
