Antoni Gaudí began designing Sagrada Família in 1883; the basilica remains under construction, now projected to complete in 2026 — over 140 years later. Its twelve towers, hyperboloid vaults, and stained glass that turns the nave into cascading colour are unlike any other building in existence. Gaudí is buried in its crypt.
