First human visits to the wreck
node
Ballard returned with the deep submersible Alvin and the tethered robot Jason Junior, which flew down the grand staircase well and into the hull. The dives produced the first close photography of the bow, the debris field and the interior, and established the wreck's condition and rate of decay as a baseline for later surveys.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
