Submersible pressure transects across the Challenger Deep floor

node

Limiting Factor runs instrumented transects across the trench floor in June 2020, and the resulting pressure-derived analysis yields a revised floor depth of about 10,935 m (+/- 6 m at 95 percent confidence) below mean sea level - deeper than the 2012 pressure results, shallower than the 2010 acoustic maximum.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
