Amboseli gazetted as a national park, removing Maasai rights inside the boundary

node

In July 1974 Amboseli was declared a national park, converting land held under Maasai tenure into a state park and extinguishing resident grazing and water rights within it. Surrounding group ranches were intended as buffer and compensation; the swamps that had been dry-season fallback grazing became the park's core tourism asset.

A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
