The New7Wonders of the World are declared in Lisbon
node
At a televised ceremony at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on 7 July 2007, the New7Wonders Foundation announced the winners of its global poll: the Colosseum, Petra, the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, the Taj Mahal and Christ the Redeemer. The foundation reported more than 100 million votes cast by internet and telephone; the totals were never independently audited and repeat voting was possible. The Great Pyramid, withdrawn at Egypt's demand, was named an honorary candidate outside the poll.
A node is not a place. Drawing it on a map would assert something about the world that no stored fact supports.
